What a day or dare I say, What a year

In the time I've been away, I've written two children's books, a poetry book "How Green Is Your Grass" I'm now working on revamping my first children's book "Ducky Grows Up" I'm revamping this book because I want it to be more affordable. Authorhouse published it in 2008 I think. It's now on Amazon for more than $20. I like getting paid for my work, which I'm not in this case, but I also like for people to be able to afford my books; after all, that's why I write. So, I'm redoing the entire book with more illustrations. I'm also working on a new novel; for now the title is "The long road back" It's basically about a woman who lost her husband through gun violence and is stuck, she just cannot move on with her life. (work in progress)

Times are hard right now with rising prices and fear and violence in the streets. Oh, wait, I must tell you this; after not being able to fly for more than thirty years, I finally flew home to Jamaica two years ago. I had to go. My ninety-seven-year-old Aunt invited me to visit her, I could not say no. I really struggled with that decision. My daughter accompanied me; without her being on the plane with me, I don't think I would have been able to go, but I did it, without outside stimulants. I chronicled it all in my memoir; of course, it's on Amazon, please pick up a copy on your way to anywhere.

I'm trying to do better with this blogging thing; no promises.
